Social Evening Programm

Sunday (October 7th)

No common social event.

Monday (October 8th)

We will meet for dinner at the restaurant "Würzburger Hofbräu Keller" (www.wuerzburger-hofbraeukeller.de). There is a separate room called "Schönbornstube" which is reserved for us.
Both vegetarian and vegan dishes are offered. A main course and table water are included in the conference fee. Everything that goes beyond this (i.e. further drinks, starters, desserts etc.) must be paid for individually (in euros).

Arrival from the conference venue:

• At the stop "Am Hubland" take the bus (line 14, direction: Busbahnhof, Würzburg), Departure 18:00, to the stop "Stift Haug".
  Change there (= 100m to "Juliuspromenda") to tram (line 2, direction: Bürgerbräu, Würzburg), Departure 18:18, and get off at "Wörthstraße, Würzburg". 350 m walk to the restaurant.
• At the stop "Am Hubland" take the bus (line 14, direction: Busbahnhof, Würzburg), Departure 18:15, to the stop "Stift Haug".
  Change there (= 100m to "Juliuspromenda") to tram (line 2, direction: Bürgerbräu, Würzburg), Departure 18:33, and get off at "Wörthstraße, Würzburg". 350 m walk to the restaurant.

Tuesday (October 9th)

A Wine Tasting will take place on Tuesday October 9th in the Staatliches Hofkeller, a cellar deep under the Würzbuger Residenz (= residence palace). We will meet at 6:15pm 6:00pm (= 18:15 18:00 Uhr) in front of the residence palace.
Meetingpoint: „Frankoniabrunnen“ (Franconia fountain, easily visible on residence square).

Wednesday (October 10th)

Common Dinner at "Festung Marienberg" (Fortress Marienberg) in the "Burggaststaetten" (http://www.burggaststaetten.de/).

We will meet at 4:30 pm (16:30 Uhr) again at the "Frankoniabrunnen“ (Franconia fountain; You already know the fountain from the day before!).
We‘ll go for a guided walk together through the old town and then up to the fortress „Festung Marienberg“. Up there we'll have dinner (in restaurant "Burggaststätten") at 06:00 pm (18:00 Uhr).

We will have a "Bavarian Evening" with pretzl & beer at the venue.
